Nothing can make a parent worry more than a sick child. Adding to that worry is the stress of scheduling and making a visit to see the pediatrician. That is, if you can even get in to see your pediatrician.
Many times, pediatrician’s schedules are so booked that parents are forced to visit an urgent care facility that rarely takes care of kids, resulting in suboptimal or faulty care for their child. When pediatricians or urgent care facilities are busy or out of reach, some parents will even resort to an expensive emergency room visit where they can waste their whole day waiting.
